*exhales after saying long title* :P Anyhoo, the other day I had a look in a chemist that I barely ever go into & I saw that they had a huge display of Bourjois! So of course I went over & swatched about 20 different products onto my hand baha. They also had some of the Covergirl Lip Perfection colours but not a very huge colour selection. & then lastly as I went up to the counter I looked in the bargain bin & they had some really nice polishes for $5!! The bag was free when you spent $30+ on Bourjois. Bourjois: Smokey Eyes in Rose Vintage. Blush- 16 Rose.  Quick Thoughts: I wish I had bought a different colour from the smokey eyes e/s because I found these are preeety similar to UD Virgin, Sin & Hustle (not exactly the same, but in the same group) &  I'm always looking for different colours. So I actually received it last week, by 'It' I mean the Inglot prize from Amalia which consists of 3 concealers & 2 lipsticks in a palette. Yayy my first Inglot products! & if this is anything to go by, I can't wait until the day I buy some of their eyeshadows! Amalia sent them to me with the palette empty & the products separately in plastic. When I first swatched them they felt extremely creamy, & maybe a bit melted (who knows, it came from the sunny U.S to winter in Aus so that may have affected it) but now I can tell they are just extremely creamy!! I have used them everyday since I've received them & they apply so smoothly & last all day!! (well not quite all day, I haven't tested them that far)         & for the lipsticks... gorgeous colours! the 1st one is more cherry & the other one more blue-based. I haven't actually used the 2nd one yet which I must! Only bad thing is that I cannot take this palette in my bag with me for...

I suppose not everybody likes a lot of drama for in the day time... but if you want that without going too OTT I like to do a brown smokey eye. For this I used the (surprise, surprise) Naked palette. I taped the edges to get that sharp look to make it a little bit more dramatic.   Of course this post wouldn't be complete without a few closeups. Eyes: NYX JEP in slate on lid UD Naked : Sin - Inner Lid. Hustle - all over the rest of the lid. Buck - Crease. Blended out with Naked . Toasted added on top of buck. Lower Lashline A little bit of Darkhorse in the outer corner. Virgin to highlight UD Whiskey E/L in waterline. Geez I need to get more creative with my titles haha. This was actually from last week, I took a break from the naked palette & went back to using NYX pearl pigments. This is just a simple look using Oro, Walnut & Nude.  Since I couldn't take any decent full sized pics, why not take a million of different angles haha. Oh these were taken before my eyebrows & my face were done.  On one eye I used Pixie Epoxy but honestly it makes it harder the blend the eyeshadow so I went without on the other eye & found that I didn't really need it with these pigments. Oh & I'm pretty sure I used UD Zero eyeliner. L-R; Oro, Walnut, Nude Well I may as well include another recent look. I just wanted a shimmery e/s on the lid (Kitten) with a hint of definition in the crease, & black winged eyeliner with gold on top of it. Oh yuck this isn't such a nice pic after all.. I have been asked so many times by so many people about which foundation would suit them better that I finally decided to do some research and make things easier for everyone. As it is not possible for me to tell you guys about which foundation is best for you, because when buying a foundation there are many things to consider and to keep in mind.   Firstly you have to know your complexion, then find out your skin undertones and you should know your skin type aswell. You should also know if you are applying the right type of moisturizer before foundation and whether you need any (and how much) SPF (Sun Protection Factor) in your foundation. To determine your skin complexion intensity and your skin undertones always check in day light or light intensity close to natural sunlight. Remove any makeup you have on your skin and keep skin charts with you which you can get form the internet and print them out. Compare your skin with the charts and see which category you fall in.
