So my recent delivery of Lacquer Lab polishes contained a polish with they are sadly discontinuing. I am so glad I managed to get my hands on it as the formula of Red Planet from their Studio Collection is amazing and the colour is beautiful. The name inspired my nail art. I have never thought of painting an alien on my nails until I read the name of this polish this evening. I did consider painting a bright green martian but then I thought the nails could look Christmasy despite the nature of the design. It took me around an hour to paint this, I am still slow with my designs but I never like finishing unless I think it's perfect. Even now I look at this picture and see at least 10 corrections I wish I had made. Here is a quick overview of the steps. I always sketch out the shape in the palest colour of the design. Barry M Comparisons of the new Gelly Hi-Shines

So a lot of you have been asking about the similarity or difference between some of the new Gelly Hi-Shine nail paints and previous releases. I have quickly put together some side by side swatches in the hope that it is useful for you. There are no dupes and some nail paints that some have thought would be very similar are actually nothing alike.   Press Sample   I was contacted by the lovely girls of INNI Nails to review their nail wraps. Before starting my blog I had never worn nails wraps but I am beginning to love them. Each set I try from different sellers has a unique look and I love seeing how they overcome the issue of sizing and the difficulties some people (maybe just me?) can have with application.   The girls behind INNI are amazing and were very quick to reply to any questions I had when it came to how best to apply their wraps.   I was sent 2 designs, and although they were very different from each other I really loved them both. In the package I received my 2 sets of wraps and a great nail file that has a very coarse texture, perfect for filing off those extra bits of wraps.     What was initially striking and really unique about INNI was that e ach wrap set has a total of 26 nail stickers with 13 different sizes for both hands.
