I bought these L.A Girl blushes from IKatehouse not too long ago and you may remember me saying I wasn't too sure about them, because it was so hard to find good swatches at the time so I wasn't sure what I would be getting. The shades I got weren't really unique so I thought I would go through my collection and see what they compared to. L-R: L.A Girl Blusher in Nectar, Just Pinched  If you can see on the picture on the left, the flash captures the coral colour and golden sheen of Nectar, and the medium pink with slight shimmer of Just Pinched. The shimmer in both of these blushes are barely noticeable, and they pull more matte on me. Packaging: Cheap feeling plastic compacts with a lift up mirror & brush underneath the product. Pigmentation: Sheer, takes a few swipes from the pan to show up. Texture: Not buttery soft but not hard, with satin/ shimmery finishes. A little while ago I came across a website that sells MAC lipstick, pigment, paintpot samples & more as well as their own brand that takes after the name of the website, Her Body Needs. There are so many lipsticks from MAC that I "need" but I wanted to make sure that I didn't have anything too similar already, but I wish I had replaced some samples with others instead. Looking at the amount of product I think you'd be able to get about 10 swatches out of it. MAC lipsticks are US$15 full sized which are 3g each so that's $5 a gram where the sample is $7.58 per gram, which means $22.74 is what you would be paying full price if you went off of the samples pricing.  Ever since I ran out of my E.L.F Eyebrow Kit ages ago, I have been just using the dark brown eyeshadow from the Sleek Storm palette, and after I hit pan on that big time I went to the darkest brown in the Wet n Wild Vanity Palette. But I have been wanting to use an eyebrow kit for the longest time now, so I thought I would give NYX's eyebrow cake powder a go, and have been using it for over a month now. Packaging: Quite bulky but still small & good for traveling, has a see through lid that opens on the left side, which is annoying when you are right handed. Texture: Wax is thick but not chunky & holds brows in place, although mine don't usually go hay wire. The powders are like regular eyeshadow. Color Selection : Black/ Gray, Dark Brown/ Brown, Taupe/ Ash, Auburn/Red, Brunette & Blonde. I have it in Dark Brown/ Brown, which I am glad I got because I like my eyebrows quite dark.
